Concessions has experience of 6 urban railways that carry 80 million passengers a year. These projects stand out due to the excellence of the urban integration of the infrastructure which has been recognised with numerous awards for accessibility, urban development and integration.
In recent years, the projects in this area of activity have received important international awards, including those obtained by the Tranvía de Zaragoza, “Best Urban Integration Project 2012” from the UITP (International Association of Public Transport) and “Best Global Project of the Year 2012” at the Light Rail Awards and those obtained by the Sydney Light Rail, “Asia-Pacific Deal of The Year 2015” from Project Finance International and “Government Partnership Excellence Award 2016” from IPA (Infrastructure Partnership Australia).
Contract for design, build, finance, operate and maintain a new light rail line (CBD and South East Light Rail) and operate and maintain an existing line (Inner West Light Rail).
Contract for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance, as well as the provision of rolling stock, for a period of 35 years, for Line 1 of the Zaragoza Tram, representing 12.80 km.
The Trambaix Tram project consists of a new tram line with three branches (T1, T2 and T3). It has a combined length of 15.8 km with 29 stations, most of which are at grade, and includes the fare collection system.
The Trambesòs Tram project consists of three lines (T4, T5 and T6) with a combined length of 14.10 km, connecting the municipalities of Barcelona, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Badalona.
